How strong is the Leash Belt?
While we don't have any official load ratings for the Leash Belt, it was designed to handle dogs of any size. The video below includes a clip demonstrating how it holds up to about 170lbs of weight pulling on it without any signs of failure.

Should I wear the Leash Belt around my waist or lower on my hips?
We recommend wearing the Leash Belt on or just below your hips for optimal comfort and balance.
How can I detach myself from my dogs in case of an emergency?
Either of the two quick release buckles can be opened with one hand and you will be immediately detached from your dogs.
How many dogs/leashes can I use at the same time?
We recommend attaching no more than 4 leashes to the Leash Belt at a time. However, you should never walk more and/or larger dogs than you would be comfortable walking without using the Leash Belt.
Does the Leash Belt come with its own leash?
No. One of the great things about the design of the Leash Belt is that you can use it with any leash you already own, including retractable leashes.
What size should I order?
Measure around your hips at their widest point and then order the Leash Belt size where your measurement is within the adjustment range. The Small-Medium size adjusts from 29”-42” and the Medium-Large size adjusts from 35”-54”. Please inquire about custom sizes if neither of the two standard sizes will work for you.
